The ACLS, PALS, and BLS courses we offer are based on the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. We have never had any issues with the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) for any of our Certifications or Recertifications. The AHA guidelines are the universally accepted standard, including by the NREMT.
The NREMT requires that all EMS providers, from Basic through Paramedic level, be certified in accordance with AHA guidelines. This requirement is met when you are certified through any of our courses. When you successfully pass a Certification or Recertification exam, you will be certified in ACLS / BLS / PALS for the next two years.
Note: Our Certifications and Recertifications do not replace any NREMT test. The NREMT conducts separate cognitive and psychomotor examinations and maintains separate testing requirements for various sets of knowledge and skills.
Some states may have specific continuing education or certification requirements that vary by location. We recommend verifying your state's requirements with your state EMS office.
